Macomb Community College hosts Public Service Institute Spotlight Night

Learn about fire, police, paramedic and EMT programs 

Macomb Community College will host a Public Service Institute (PSI) Spotlight Night on Wednesday, May 14, 7 p.m., giving prospective students and their parents an opportunity to learn about Macomb’s Police, Emergency Medical Service and Fire programs. The 90-minute event at Macomb’s East Campus will include a welcome event, information on each career pathway, tours of class spaces and a chance to meet with faculty and staff.  

“The PSI Spotlight Night is an excellent opportunity for anyone with an interest in these specific programs to ask questions and learn about career possibilities. It also provides a rare opportunity to see the state-of-the-art facilities used for these programs, including an indoor firearms range, use-of-force training simulator and firefighting equipment like the Jaws of Life” said Michael Lopez, director, Public Service Institute.
