Macomb Community College is Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Macomb Community College has been continuously accredited by HLC since 1970. Accreditation by HLC requires that the college meets specific Criteria for Accreditation and other foundational requirements. The Criteria for Accreditation are the standards of quality by which HLC determines whether an institution merits accreditation.
