Macomb Community College will hold its annual job fair Tuesday, April 22, 4 - 7 p.m., at the Sports & Expo Center on the college’s South Campus in Warren. Co-sponsored by the city of Warren, the job fair offers community members the opportunity to connect with approximately 200 employers looking to hire for both full- and part-time positions. The job fair is free and open to the public with no registration required.
Employers participating in the job fair include the city of Warren, DTE Energy, Henry Ford Health, Macomb County Government, Michigan Schools and Credit Union, Rocket, Smith Brothers Tools, The Townsend Hotel and Williams International. Robert Penkala, director, Career Services, Macomb Community College, advises those attending the job fair to dress in business attire, bring plenty of resumes and be ready for on-the-spot interviews.
“The upcoming job fair is a fantastic opportunity for job seekers to connect with employers actively looking for talent,” said Penkala. “Whether you're exploring career options or ready to secure your next role, this event offers invaluable networking and job opportunities. We encourage everyone to come prepared, make meaningful connections and take the next step toward their future."
Additional resources will also be available on-site, including the college’s Office of Veteran and Military Service and Michigan Works! Macomb/St. Clair with information on the programs they offer.
To help prepare for the job fair, Macomb students and alumni are invited to participate in Job Fair Success Seminars on Monday, April 14, 2 – 3 p.m., at Center Campus or Wednesday, April 16, noon – 1 p.m., South Campus.
