Learn what Macomb Community College has to offer during Discover Macomb, Discover your Future
Prospective college students undecided about their career and their parents can learn what Macomb Community College has to offer during Discover Macomb, Discover your Future, Saturday, Nov. 9, 9:30 a.m. - noon. Discover Macomb will be held at the Lorenzo Cultural Center on Macomb’s Center Campus in Clinton Township with topical breakout sessions, informational tables and campus tours. Participants will get an overview of program offerings as well as program requirements, transfer pathways to complete a bachelor’s degree and connections to workforce opportunities.
The breakout sessions will include:
- Engineering and Advanced Technology
- Health and Human Services
- Arts and Sciences
- Financial Aid and paying for college
- Michigan Transfer Agreement
- Student panel discussing their Macomb experiences
- Counseling, Career Services and other special services
The breakout sessions run approximately 25 minutes in length. Participants can attend multiple sessions. Following the sessions, Macomb staff will offer tours of Center Campus.
Attendees are also invited to visit informational tables covering topics including dual enrollment, short-term certificates, financial aid, counseling, academic advising and student access services. Also in attendance will be Macomb University Center partners who can provide information on completing a bachelor’s degree. These attending partners include:
- Ferris State University
- Rochester Christian University
- Walsh University
- Wayne State University
- University of Detroit Mercy
