Learn what Macomb Community College offers in fire, police and EMT programs during Discover Macomb
Potential students and their parents can learn what it takes to become a police officer, a firefighter or an emergency medical technician (EMT) during Macomb Community College’s Discover Macomb – Public Service Institute, Wednesday, June 14, 7 p.m. on the college’s East Campus in Clinton Township.
During this 90-minute session, faculty and staff will provide a broad range of information about each career pathway, including the physical and educational requirements to become a police officer, firefighter or EMT, as well as connections to workforce opportunities. Participants will also tour the college’s state-of-the-art public service training facilities, which will include equipment demonstrations.
Discover Macomb – Public Service Institute will be held at Macomb’s East Campus at 21901 Dunham Road, Clinton Township. Those interested in attending should register at www.macomb.edu/discovermacomb for the free event. Those who attend are eligible to win a $50 gift card to Macomb Community College’s bookstore.
