Learn what Macomb Community College has to offer in health and human services programs during Discover Macomb
Potential students and their parents can learn what health and human services programs Macomb Community College has to offer during Discover Macomb, Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. on the college’s Center Campus.
Representatives from Macomb’s Admissions Office will open the 90-minute session with a brief overview of the college. This will be followed by in-depth information presented by each of the program areas, which include nursing, occupational and respiratory therapy, dental assistant and hygienist, and veterinary technician. Attendees will tour the college’s state-of-the-art health and human services educational facility and learn about program requirements, transfer plans and connections to workforce opportunities followed by a question-and-answer period. Attendees will also hear from current students on their experiences in the programs.
Discover Macomb focused on the college’s health and human services programs will be held on Macomb’s Center Campus in Clinton Township, E Building, Room 114 (Campus map). Those interested in attending should visit www.macomb.edu/discovermacomb to register for the free event.
Additional upcoming Discover Macomb sessions each have a specific focus and will be held:
- Find Your Path (for undecided students) – Saturday, March 25, 9:30 a.m.
- Arts and Sciences – Tuesday, April 18, 7 p.m.
- Public Service Institute – Wednesday, June 14, 7 p.m.
Those interested in more than one program area are encouraged to attend multiple sessions of Discover Macomb. Participants in each session are eligible to win a $50 gift card to the Macomb bookstore.
