Ways to Give
At Macomb, we are proud of our dedicated students. Yet, many face financial hardships that threaten their dreams of earning a degree.
Donor support through scholarships and program funds helps eliminate those barriers, providing necessary upgrades and resources for innovative learning and culture experiences.
We honor donor intent and collaborate to create programs or scholarship funds that reflect your vision. You can contribute to existing funds or design one that aligns with your goals. The Foundation has identified key funding priorities where your generosity can make a meaningful impact:
Named Restricted Fund
The minimum amount required to create a named annual (non-endowed) scholarship or program fund is $3,000, which can be paid over a two-year period.
A minimum of $1,500 is required to distribute awards to students. Funds are awarded annually until funds are exhausted.
Named Endowed Scholarship Fund
A minimum of $15,000 is required to be fully funded. This can be done through a one-time gift or a pledge over three years. $16,000 is required to fully fund AND award in the next academic year.
Otherwise, awarding will not begin until the first distribution from the endowment occurs.
This is a permanently endowed fund. These funds are invested in accordance with the MCC Foundation's investment policy, and a percentage is used for the program and/or scholarship while the principal remains in perpetuity
