DIVERSITY
We will strive to ensure that a broad diversity of individuals is reflected throughout the college community. Diversity is expressed through a range of human traits including, but not limited to, race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, ancestry, height, weight, sexual orientation, pregnancy, disability, genetic information, familial status, marital status, military or veteran status, gender identification or expression, mental, physical and emotional health status, socioeconomic status, and political perspective.

EQUITY
We will work to develop the structures and opportunities necessary to ensure all members of our community can achieve their highest level of success. Equity requires creating fair and just practices that address structural inequalities, historic and current, that advantage some and disadvantage others.

ACCESS
We will establish and maintain processes, policies and physical infrastructure that will enable all members of our community to fully take advantage of and participate in the educational, professional, and community opportunities and services supported by the college. While these ideals guide us in our continuous journey of IDEA work, we understand that it is the college’s core value of accountability that will make it a reality. As a community, we will hold ourselves and each other accountable to working toward these ideals through open-mindedness, action and transparency.
