For 70 years, Macomb has been a key resource for education and culture, connecting people and businesses, filling vital community roles, expanding cultural awareness and driving economic prosperity.
Despite our strong record, we must continue to evolve our programs and services to meet the rapidly changing workforce demands, technology and learning needs.
We invite you to join us in Transforming Tomorrows, a comprehensive fundraising campaign designed to elevate Macomb’s impact and improve the long-term prosperity of our region.
Case for Support
Giving Opportunities
With a goal of raising $15 million by June of 2026, the campaign focuses on four critical areas:
- Academic and workforce development
- Student access and success
- Arts and culture
- Technology and innovation
Enhancements in these areas will help transform the lives of current students and establish an enduring legacy to benefit future generations.
Why now?
The average age of a Macomb student is 24, with many balancing full- or part-time work and family responsibilities. According to the Michigan Center for Adult College Success, 60% of adult students face basic needs insecurity and 82% of working adults enrolled in a community college don’t earn a credential within four years.Scholarships, emergency funds and program funds eliminate the obstacles that prevent Macomb’s students from reaching their goals. These resources pave the way for prosperity, laying the groundwork for sustainable careers, economic growth and stronger communities.
