Spring and summer classes come in various formats, ranging from four, six, eight and 12 weeks, with start dates in May and June. These condensed schedules allow students to complete coursework faster than in a traditional semester.
Yes, all student services that are available during fall and winter—such as academic advising, tutoring, career services and library access—are also available in the spring/summer. While some have reduced hours, your student will still have full access to the support they need.
While cafeterias close for the summer, prepackaged foods and beverages can be purchased from our Twenty 4 Seven Markets in the Student Centers, and vending machines are available across campus.

If your student has not taken the maximum classes allowed per year and they are attending at least half-time, they may use financial aid funds to pay for spring/summer classes. We recommend your student contact the Financial Aid Office to confirm eligibility.
Registration for spring and summer classes opens in March and continues until the first day of each class. Encourage your student to register early, as classes fill up quickly!
