Fast-track Michigan Maritime Manufacturing training launches at Macomb Community College

Through a $15.4 million Navy investment in the college, Macomb has created a state-of-the art maritime skilled trades training center and will train 384 individuals by early 2027.
Matt Hayduk, an apprentice at True Industries, is learning to be a tool and die maker. Hayduk says he’s learned more than how to be a tool and die expert. He’s also grown professionally with more responsibility and personal maturity.
